Remember last year when I spent a day making a ton of flowers for Avery's hair (months before she even arrived)?
Well, today I made these.
But, I didn't spend all my energy on Avery, the boys got a little something too. And although they didn't turn out quite perfect, they were good enough for Brad to ask me to make him some also.
So today while I kept busy with projects and friends, I was really just distracting myself.
Because today, my mom was in surgery... the first step to ridding her body of breast cancer. And today was not a fun day... the first of many I'm sure. But, if my mom is anything, she's determined. So this next while may not be fun (and my mom is all about fun) but, as her best friend said, "It is do-able." And she would know.

Wow! How did you get all that done and all I did was one t-shirt? The shirts look great! Glad everything went well for you mom yesterday.
I didn't know your mom had breast cancer! I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you were able to use your nervous energy to be able to get some things made. They are so cute! Sometimes I like the bows better than the flowers.
O Kendyll I had no idea about your mom. I know your mom and she is a fighter. I will pray for her. These bows and shirts turned out so cute. How do you make the shirts. I would love to learn. Hang in there friend.Send your mom my love.
The bows are darling and the t-shirts are sweet as well.
Your mom is one tough cookie and she is going to get thru all of this with flying colors. She has way too many people praying and wishing her well not to.
Love you my bestie, I'm here whenever you need me :)
