Last night we took the kids to a Salt Lake Bees game (minor league baseball) since Wesley and Jack are totally into all things 'Sandlot' right now. It was such a perfect night! We went with our good friends (thanks again for getting such GREAT seats Alison and Rob!) and all of us really enjoyed the night out. The weather was just right... we were worried it would be too cold, but no, for once Utah weather worked in my favor. The boys LOVED the action! We saw an awesome home run right when we arrived, a couple balls hit the net in front of us, and one guy broke a bat in half! Jack talked about all the excitement the entire ride home.Friday, June 18, 2010

Matt was very excited that the lakers won too..boys..love the picture of Wesley and his gang signs, mom is teaching him about her ghetto side. Haha
A perfect night indeed! However, I cannot agree about Brad and the Lakers. I was hoping someone from the Celtics would kick Kobe in the knee...you can tell Brad that! Ha ha. Love the pics of the kids. What a fun night! It is good that Wesley has learned his West Side Pride!
I've wanted to take the kids so bad to a Bees game, so maybe this will give me the courage I need to endure a late night. It sounds like you got great seats. Do you have the movie The Sandlot? It was Josh's favorite until he started repeating some of the obscenities and then I gently moved him on to other movies, although we still watch it on occasion.
