Wait, What?!

I am so SO so blessed with the BEST friends.

Michele called a few weeks ago and told me that some of her friends were planning a dinner for her 35th birthday.  With the holidays and busy schedules they planned it a few weeks before her actual birthday.  It was going to be at Tuscany, a restaurant I've wanted to eat at, and I was excited to go.  I showed up and told the hostess I didn't know who's name the reservation was under but I was there for a party for Michele Brinkerhoff.  She replied "Allison Anderson?" And I thought "oh that's funny because I have a friend with the same name" and then she walked me to the table.  When I walked into the room these were the ladies I found... Honestly, my first thought was "are Allison and Cammie and Megan and Tiffany having dinner here too? Weird."  And then it hit me... this was a party for MY birthday!  It took me a solid ten minutes to figure out how they pulled this together and I never suspected anything at all!  So, Allison had planned the whole thing and used Michele as a decoy.  Clever, clever.  I honestly can't think of the last time I was surprised and this was the best kind of surprise!  We spent the evening talking and enjoying the yummiest food.  I can't thank them enough for this night, I totally did NOT deserve it.  But like I said, I have the very best and most thoughtful friends.
