In the past I've been able to subdue Brad's March Madness cravings, but now I am totally outnumbered but basketball crazed boys. So it really felt like madness watching the games nearly non-stop! But, before it all began, Chad had the brilliant idea of setting up a Larson Family Bracket tournament. Each of us filled out our own brackets and promised to give $5 to the winner. As Brad and I filled ours out Jack and Wesley decided they wanted in on the action. Brad stayed on top for nearly the entire time, but was bumped out in the final four and it looked like Shanna was going to win it all. But then Wesley jumped up and took the top spot, winning a whopping $50! Way to go Wesley! And thanks Aunts and Uncles for paying up, it's hard to get beat by an eight year old!
Aunt Shanna sweetly gave him a $5 bill, Uncle Reed decided 500 pennies would be a little more fun!
And Uncle Dane and Eliot and Uncle Blake and Aunt Cait sent cards too!
Mimi and Papa's card even sang!
He is one lucky kid! And he can't wait to spend his money on Kentucky gear!
