While in San Diego last month, Mimi kept trying to teach Tess to say "Papa". Unlike our boys who started speaking super early, Tessa and Avery have taken their time learning to talk. But a week or so ago, amongst all of her jibber jabbering, I thought I heard Tess say "papa" so I said back to her "Do you remember Papa and Mimi? Can you say Papa?" She didn't say it again, but she ran to our picture table and brought me back this frame! Now that could be a coincidence, but I don't think so.
A couple days ago I showed her the picture again and said "Where's Papa?" and she repeated "pa pa pa pa"! I called my dad right then so he could hear her. Smart girl.
