Happy Birthday Jack!
He had the best day. He loved his gifts and really loved picking the food for every meal... bacon and donuts for breakfast, french toast for lunch, and noodles for dinner. Plus Big Grandpa and Grandma came for dinner!
Today we had a party. We've always called Jack our monkey, but now we think he's more like an American Ninja Warrior... you know the show? It was made for him. And he loves Ninjago Legos, so of course he had a ninja birthday party.
My awesome friend Megan (Austin and Katie's mom) made Jack's cake, isn't it amazing?
We even had a "real ninja" come to train the kids!
It's been a lot of fun around here!
Right now Jack is...
...becoming such a good reader.
(he's been reading the BOB books and is doing so well)
...LOVING school!
...a ladies man. Girls chase him everyday at recess. And three girls have already been moved away from his table at school for talking too much.
...stubborn as ever, but controlling his temper better.
...still giving the best hugs and snuggles.
...a climber. Lately he's been climbing the support beam in our basement to the ceiling or scaling the fence with his finger tips.
...still OBSESSED with Tessa. He won't stop touching, hugging, and kissing that girl!
...a Daddy's boy.
...and sometimes a Mommy's boy.
...our FAVORITE 6 year old!
