I've finally planted my own garden! We planted a couple of the kids choices... peas, green beans, and watermelon. And a few of my favorites too... zucchini, yellow squash, green peppers, and tomatoes. We didn't get many peas or green beans, really only enough for this one snack, but the boys LOVED them! They ate all of the peas and half of the green beans raw and then cooked and finished the rest.
Also, Wesley brought home a tiny seedling of a pumpkin plant at the end of the school year and we planted it in the back flower bed. It has grown into a giant! We can't wait to see how many pumpkins we get!
