He's EIGHT!!!

I can't believe this just happened!

This is going to be an awesome year starting with some major events for this little boy... Cub Scouts, Pine Wood Derby, Baptism!

Mimi and Papa bought him his scout uniform and book, can you tell how excited he is?!

And we are encouraging his obsession with basketball!

His party wasn't for a few more days, but we invited over a few friends to decorate sugar cookies.  I'm not sure I gave them enough sprinkles though!



And that night was his first Cub Scout meeting, a field trip to the library.

Saturday we had a big friend party, obviously basketball themed!

After an hour of non-stop basketball and basketball party games, they took a break for cupcakes and ice cream.

He has awesome friends that know him well and picked out perfect gifts! Here are a few highlights...

(Side note: Allison let us use Tate's FIRST jersey for Tess, how cute is that?! And Avery kept calling herself a Lakers' girl... we are in for some trouble!)

Sunday, we celebrated a little more with Grandma and Grandpa Curtis. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled.
