to America's Finest City
So here's what we were up to...
We spent a day at Sea World with Mimi.
We saw the Shamu show and the dolphin show, but the kids really loved the sharks!
And then we spent another evening at Sea World with Grandpa. This time we saw the dolphin show and the new Shamu show at night. Plus a few more animals we hadn't seen the other day.
Then, just to make sure we saw it all, the boys and I went back one more time! This time I let them play in the Sesame Street Bay of Play, where they got to meet Elmo. And we sat in the "soak zone" at the Shamu Show. Luckily we didn't get soaked but we were splashed. Plus we watched the dolphin show two more times (this was their favorite show; it really is good).
So between all those visits to Sea World we did some other really fun stuff too.
We spent a couple days at the beach with great friends.
And another few days were spent at the pool. Unfortunately for me, Avery has no fear of the water and even in a kiddie pool that's a problem. Plus she quickly learned to climb in and out, and when she climbed out she would run. So the trips to the pool weren't very relaxing... I was keeping a very close eye on that little spit fire.
We also squeezed in a day on the bay for lunch at Anthony's and a ferry ride to Coronado. The boys loved looking at the ships. Jack sang "Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me!" like a real member of the crew.
And after all of that my brother Chad flew in to spend a day at the beach with us and then help me drive the kids home.
It was another totally perfect day, except for Jack's bee sting! I guess there's bound to be one mishap in two weeks of paradise.
We had a great vacation and can't wait to get back there!

I loved getting to see you a couple times this trip! Also love how much sand is on Juniper's face in that photo. =)
It looks like a lovely time in paradise!! I can't until we get to go at the end of the month for alittle over a week. Your kids are so big now especially your boys.
