Week One

This has been the best week snuggling our newborn.  I love watching the big kids run in the door after school excited to see her.  But my favorite part of the week has been spending each morning in bed with Iley, and usually Tessa, cuddled up and enjoying these happy moments.
We also had lots of visitors this week.  Uncle Reed, Aunt Shanna, Afton, and Goldie.  Grandpa and Grandma Curtis.  And Big Grandpa and Big Grandma.

I love this last picture of Mimi and her baby girls, but it is incomplete.  Michelle was due two weeks before me but we ended up being induced on the same day, me a week early, her a week late. The day after Iley, cousin Rose born.  But delivery didn't go as smoothly as expected, and after a traumatic birth for Michelle and baby, Rose is in the NICU.  I was able to visit her the other night and happy to see that with the exception of all her tubes and monitors, she looked better than I imagined.  She's pink and chubby, cute as can be, and quite the fighter.  We're all praying for her and Chad and Michelle. We can't wait for her to be healthy and home.
