Friday - We played at a park during Mimi's PET scan and spent a while in the pool that evening. Tess decided floating was her new favorite thing. The whole time she was in the pool (albeit the baby pool) she floated on her back and her stomach.
Saturday - Girls day! And boys day bowling, but I don't have any pictures of that. Us girls went to have our nails done at the cutest new nail salon!
Sunday - After church we took a walk around the marina in Chula Vista.
Monday - We got the WORLD'S LARGEST ICE CREAM CONES at Belmont Park! Don't worry, they didn't really eat that much... Wesley and Avery shared the one he is holding, my mom and I shared the one Avery is holding, and Tess only had an empty cone. But Jack did attempt to eat his gigantic cone and might have succeeded if the second half didn't fall to the ground. Afterwards, Mimi and the kids played lacrosse by the beach. It was a pretty great afternoon.
Tuesday - Maybe the best beach day yet! We met my friend Lauren and her darling girls (Ela, Tasha, Sariah, and Ava) in Carlsbad and spent hours soaking up the sun. The big kids played in the water for so long and the babies played happily in the sand. If I hadn't noticed Tessa starting to turn pink (after 5 hours!) we would have stayed even longer. It was such a nice day!
Wesnesday - We laid low.
Thursday - We were back at it, having too much fun. Tessa stayed with Mimi and I took the kids back to Belmont park to enjoy the rides. They loved the tilt-a-whirl and the Vertical Plunge, and went on the bumper cars and Krazy Kars at least 5 times each! The old wooden roller coaster ride was pretty rough, but Jack went on it a second time. Mimi and Papa came to meet us in the evening for a bonfire dinner before I took all the kids home for a good shower ;)
Friday - We met Papa after work to see the Minion movie.
Saturday - I forgot to mention they just moved into this house a month ago. So Saturday was spent unpacking, and organizing some shelves in the garage... ALL day. We really got SO much done.
Sunday - We took a couple of pictures, because these kids are so cute, how could we not?
Monday - Mimi surprised us with a day at Sea World! And what can I say? It's one of the coolest places! The kids were so excited and we had a GREAT day! We even stayed for the late night Shamu show and fireworks!
It was another perfect San Diego vacation! And we're all exhausted!
