A few months ago Brad was called to be the Elder's Quorum President and I was released from my primary calling. I was tricked into thinking I wouldn't be given a calling while Brad was getting used to the new work load... then I was put in charge of the whole Christmas party!
I would rather have a calling :)
I'm not going to lie, it's been pretty stressful, but I think it was a success. Santa took pictures and visited the tables during breakfast, the kids were occupied with a small craft, and the young women did face painting (all the kids seemed really happy). I'd do a few things other things differently, but
I'm not asking to do it again!
