Stitches

This was going to happen sooner or later.
We were at the pool and Jack jumped a little to close to our neighbor Anderson, landing his chin right on Anderson's head.  I knew right away it would need stitches so we headed down to the hospital in Riverton with Primary Children's (I'm sparing everyone the pre-stitches picture).  Jack is so tough, he was done crying before we even got in the car!  And once we got there he was more than happy to play with the action figures they brought him and to watch Despicable Me.
The two women assigned to Jack (not nurses, just specialists to help kids) were all over him like glue.  They explained what the doctor was going to do, so he was excited to see the doctor's tools.
He was so calm and observant as the doctor stitched away.
Five on the inside, eight on the outside.
Five days later we were back to get them taken out.
It looks pretty bad in these pictures, but it's under his chin so you can't see it at all unless he's looking up.
He's as good as new.
