We had the best Easter Weekend.
Saturday morning was spent at the Brinkerhoff's Easter Egg Hunt. There were tons of people, but a thousand eggs! The kids had a great time and the weather was perfect.
After naps we met back up with Matt, Michele, and the kids at Temple Square. I love Temple Square in the spring with everything in bloom, it was spectacular. Plus, it was nice to spend a little bit more of the day focusing on Christ and the real reason we celebrate Easter.
Wesley was up bright and early Easter morning, ready to follow the Easter Bunny's clues to find the easter baskets. We made him wait until 7:00 to wake up Avery and Jack, awful parents right?!
The kids played with their new toys right up till the last second and then we were off to church in our Sunday best.
We spent the afternoon with Chris and Lory. She always prepares a fun easter egg hunt for the kids and we're totally grateful for the candy!
Avery was in love with this princess tiara the minute she found it and wore it the rest of the afternoon.
After a yummy dinner, we were off to dessert at Reed and Shanna's house. Of course with Shanna being such an awesome cook, I ate an entire second dinner! And I really couldn't skip the dessert because she made creme brulee, my favorite. And they had new baby chicks!
So much fun in one weekend!
