Yesterday was Avery's Blessing day. It began with another blessing, for my neice Hailey, in my in-laws ward. Afterwards, they hosted a brunch for our families at their home. Then in the afternoon we went to our ward for Avery's Blessing. Brad did an awesome job, saying exactly what I would have wished for. The priesthood is such a gift.Anyway, my mom made Avery's dress and isn't it perfect?
My little girl looked so beautiful!
She is so adorable, so (of course) I couldn't take enough pictures. These are a few of my favorites.

And if one fabulous dress weren't enough, there was a second. My Dad's sister made a blessing dress for the first granddaughter in the family nearly forty years ago and since then almost every girl in the family has used it (including myself). Needless to say I was a little torn about using a new one, but traditions are wonderful and I wanted to start one in my own family. Plus it's really special to me that my Mom made it. But, since the family heirloom was in my possesion, how could I not take a picture? It also it a very beautiful and special dress.

Oh my Kendyll, that is the most beautiful dress I've ever seen! It makes me wish I had cared more about what I dressed Claire in. She is a little beauty.
I'm dying over that dress--it's beautiful!!! Avery is such a beautiful baby. And you look AWESOME!
Her dress is so amazing. But how could I expect Any less from your talented mother. Avery is so lucky to have lots of people who love her. What a special day for your fAmily. The priesthood is so powerful. Love ya and miss ya. But I am so glad that we keep in touch through blogging.
I love how she looks just like your boys, but in a feminine way. They all look like they belong together!
She looks so sweet and you are such a hot momma!
