Happy Birthday Jack! OK, we are celebrating a few days early. His birthday isn't until Tuesday, but we decided to have his party Saturday night. There was a little cake and a lot of family. So here are our highlights...
Jack actually ate his cake and I know this may not seem like a big deal to most people, but after Wesley's first birthday we felt a little ripped off. Wesley touched the icing with one finger, wiped it on Brad's shirt, and wanted nothing else to do with it, so we totally missed out on the big, messy, dig in tradition. We were delighted that Jack did the opposite! And he truly did make a BIG mess!
After a quick wardrobe change, he opened presents (upon presents, upon presents). THANK YOU everyone!
It was a great night! And now my baby is ONE, well almost.

It is so crazy that jack and Brody will be one soon. We are having a birthday dinner with cake for Brody on Sunday a few days before his actual bday because family will be in town. I can't believe it has been a year that I had a baby. Jack is so handsome. So do you have any name for your baby girl?
I am finally catching up on blogs! WE have a gift for Jack so I will bring it to playgroup on Monday! He is getting so big, yet he's still so TINY compared to my monster boys! I am still so excited you are having a girl! Your girls trip looks like it was so much fun! I am finally taking one in two weeks- first time away from Gavin and only second time away from Conner. I have been so hit and miss with playgroup this summer, but hope to be more consistent with changing of seasons. See you soon!
